The harsh reality of God is simple, yet so complex for our mundane minds to fully comprehend. The harsh reality of God is that He loves you so much that He sent us His only son to die for you in spite of all of your failures! The harsh reality is that there is nothing that you can do to make him love you any more or any less. Those freckles that you hate, the few more inches to your height that you wish for, or the way that you look at your self in the mirror in disgust because of the person looking back at you are all part of the harsh reality of why God loves you! He made you perfect in every way. In fact, God even mad you in His own image! Genesis 1:26 says this:
“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all[a] the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'” (NKJV)
God loves us so much! In fact in the Bible it says:
“…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
The joy of the Lord means many things, but one of them is us; the church; his children. We are so loved by God that He finds His joy in being with us. When you have that intimate walk with God that we as Christians so desperately need, you will begin to not only see how God views the world and everyone that walks the earth, but you will be able to view yourself how He sees you too; with joy.
The harsh reality of God is that He made you perfect in every way. The harsh reality of God is that he loves you and wants to spend an eternity with you.
If you haven’t accepted Jesus into your heart as your Lord and savior, do so right now. Watch and see all that He would do in your life. If you no longer have any joy, or are tired of being tired; give it all to Jesus who already bore it all on the cross so that you would not have to.
